Normandy truly is a magnificent part of France to explore and enjoy. It boasts some of the top tourist attractions outside Paris including Mont St Michel, The Bayeux Tapestry and the Normandy Landing Beaches to name but a few.
Normandy is divided into five departments and we have chosen to name our five guest rooms after them. Each department has its own charm and offers something different to its visitor, we hope that our rooms reflect this also.

Normandy's huge popularity comes perhaps from its diversity and rich history. From the gorgeous beaches in the north to the rolling hills of Suisse Normandy to the moving and reflective D-Day Landing sites. It seems that within it there is something for all generations to enjoy.

It is a great area for all kinds of sporting activities. There are two great water sports centre nearby. Beautiful walks and cycle rides. Horse riding, golf and fishing all within easy reach

Our property is situated in the Calvados department famous of course for it's cider and Calvados but also boasts it's own aperitif which is made from a mixture of the two called Pommeau. The renowned cider route close by will guide you on a picturesque route through countryside and villages and takes you past 19 local producers where you can sample while taking a guided tour.

If you do plan to go further a field, Paris is only a two hour train journey from Argentan (20 minutes from the property) and the train takes you right into the centre. Le Mans and its famous race track is under two hours by car.
